Problem Solved Electric offers professional oversized ceiling fan installation for fans spanning more than 60 inches (5 feet) and up to 108 inches (9 feet), or with downrods 36 inches or longer. This flat-rate service is for homes with an existing, properly mounted fan-rated electrical box. No wiring changes are included.
Ideal for vaulted living rooms, great rooms, shops, and large spaces in Hayden, Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Rathdrum, and surrounding Kootenai County.
Includes:
– Installation of customer-provided oversized ceiling fan
– Mounting to existing fan-rated ceiling box
– Assembly of oversized motor, blades, and extended downrod (up to 9-foot span or 36”+ rod)
– No wiring modifications or switch replacements
– Plastic sheeting used to protect floors and furniture
– We only access what’s needed to complete the installation

– Attic access
– Incomplete or damaged fan kits

– Cosmetic repairs including drywall, texture, or paint
– Structural or framing modifications
– Troubleshooting unrelated electrical issues
– Installation of fans outside the size limits listed above
