This flat-rate add-on applies to any electrical installation requiring work at ceiling heights between 17 and 20 feet. It covers the additional labor, specialty equipment, and safety protocols required for elevated access beyond standard ladder reach.
Ideal for tall great rooms, commercial spaces, vaulted entries, and high-ceiling installs across Hayden, Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Rathdrum, and surrounding areas.
Includes:
– Use of specialty ladders rated for 20-foot ceiling access
– Additional labor time for setup, takedown, and safe operation
– Adjustments for longer downrods, fixture chains, or suspension hardware
– Applies to fans, chandeliers, lighting fixtures, or overhead devices within height range
Additional Charges Apply For:
– Ceilings over 20 feet (quoted separately)
– Scissor lift or scaffold rental (if required)
– Extremely heavy fixtures or assemblies over 50 lbs
– Hazardous, obstructed, or tight access areas
– Structural reinforcement or framing modifications
Exclusions:
– Does not include the base price of fixture or fan installation
– Does not include cosmetic repairs (drywall, paint, texture)
– Does not include wiring modifications or electrical troubleshooting
– Does not include engineering, permits, or load calculations for custom structures
